The traditional way of responding to health emergencies in Maseno University was slow, inaccurate and unreliable. The procedure itself was dependent on the skills of a human being to assess the situation and gather relevant information from students such as their geo-location. The university lacked a way to track the success or failure of health emergency requests.
MASENO EMERGENCY RESPONSE & REPORTING SYSTEM
This project aims at managing emergencies and reporting them in Maseno University. Students log in and submit a request, while the moderator tracks the request and assigns a rescue team which then responds to the request with the help of an google map API integrated into the system.

THE SOLUTION
I solved the problem by building a system where when a student logs in, the system auto picks geo-coordinates and on submitting a request, the same are recorded on the database. The moderator could then log in and assign the request to a rescue team. On being assigned, the rescue team can find the location of the student using a Map integrated into the system through the power of Google API.
